Job Summary
Headquartered in Tokyo Japan Evident employs around 4500 people at a total of 57 locations worldwide. Evident Europe headquartered in Hamburg Germany employs approximately 770 people in 16 countries. The product portfolio includes a wide range of microscope systems used in clinical diagnostics medical and basic research as well as in various industrial addition Evident offers videoscopes products for non-destructive testing techniques and for X-ray fluorescence analysis.
Tasks
Lead a team of Product Master Data Specialists:
Manage the daily execution of product data tasks for the Americas and EMEA region in line with business priorities
Monitor and balance the teams workload and ensure availability
Own business critical KPIs including the item creation cycle time
Own the global end-to-end Product Master Data Management (P-MDM) process:
Ensure effective integration with the New Product Development process and all major business processes
Coordinate and closely collaborate with the community of process stakeholders
Set-up and roll-out a set of operational KPI covering the process end-to-end
Continuously strive for improvement & process automation to increase efficiency and quality in master data management
Partner with Master Data Governance and other IT functions on process design requirements and roadmapDrive further harmonization of global P-MDM processes and data standards in collaboration with other functions
Requirements
- University Degree
- Experienced in managing product master data
- Demonstrated strong experience in project management
- Pronounced analytical and conceptual skills very data-oriented approach
- Exceptional end-to-end process understanding and mindset
- Strong solution orientation and proactive behavior
- Ability to matrix well across all functions
- Hands-on mentality and flexibility to take operational tasks within the team
- Strong command of English
- Team player with strong communication and interaction skills
