Job Summary

We are seeking a Global Logistics Quality Manager (m/f/diverse) with solid logistic experience to lead and continuously improve logistics quality across our global tire business. As part of our global logistics quality team this role supports around 90 plant and market warehouses worldwide to be compliant with global standards and to drive operational excellence in logistics.

  • Driving Global Logistics Quality Roadmap
    • Develop and coordinate the implementation of a global roadmap for logistics quality together with the global logistics quality team
    • Initiating and managing projects to drive quality roadmap items and to strive for operational excellence together with other SCM and QMtC functions
  • Quality Excellence & Audits:
    • Define and implement quality standards within the global logistics organization and establish auditing procedures of plant and market warehouses
    • Evaluate and approve relevant regulatory customer and internal requirements and integrate them into the Quality Management System
    • Support logistics operations to fulfill mandatory standards and to continuously improve through warehouse audits with the focus on EMEA region
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Create and maintain global logistics quality reports and KPIs set targets and monitor performance
    • Initiate manage and support structured problem-solving in the area of logistics with the focus on EMEA region
    • Facilitate global knowhow transfer between global and BA logistics quality representatives

Qualifications :

  • University degree in logistics engineering quality management or equivalent studies
  • Several years of work experience in logistics and/or quality management 
  • Strong project management skills are mandatory project leadership experience is an advantage
  • Experiences as an auditor are beneficial
  • Working experiences in an international working environment 
  • Knowledge in handling warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Ability to lead controversial discussion with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken); German and additional language skills are advantageous
  • High willingness to travel (approx. 20%) to realize goals and implement standards on a global level
