Job Description-:

Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail)

• Scrum Master Certification
• Minimum three (3) years experience as a scrum master using Scaled Agile Framework SAFe
• Must show experience identifying impediments and advocating for the resolution/mitigation of the impediments
• Must have served as a Scrum Master for a minimum of one (1) year to Agile teams with experience in facilitating daily stand-ups sprint planning sprint reviews retrospectives and quarterly program increment planning.
• Must have minimum three (3) years of experience and knowledge working with of Atlassian JIRA and Align work management tools.
• Must have experience in the ability to create and manage Agile team backlog sprint plans roadmaps and productivity reporting within the work management tools.
• Must have experience in the ability to coordinate and link test cases and test results with development of user stories and tasks.
• Must have experience in the ability to promote and support Agile principles and practices across the organization.
• Must have experience in the ability to remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to ensure uninterrupted progress.
• Must have experience in the ability to collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and assist with user story refinement.
• Must have experience in the ability to track and communicate team progress metrics and performance to stakeholders.
• Must have experience in the ability to facilitate continuous improvement efforts and support team development and coaching.
• Must have experience in the ability to coordinate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to foster organizational Agile maturity.
• Must have experience in the ability to assist in risk identification and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Desirable Qualifications

• Has the experience in the ability to foster a culture of collaboration transparency and accountability within teams
• Utility (electric water or gas) environment company or sector experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum Kanban and Lean methodologies and development best practices.
• Strong and excellent facilitation coaching and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master working in Agile software development environments.
• Relevant certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
• Experience in utility or public sector environments is a plus.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence)
