The Opportunity
We are seeking a casual Student Support and Engagement Coordinator to deliver best-practice student services to Arts students and staff. This position is available for immediate start.
The Student Support and Engagement Coordinator role ensures the delivery of high-quality student services within the Arts Faculty. The role drives excellence across the student lifecycle supporting both students and staff through initiatives that enhance engagement progression and overall academic experience while contributing to the effective functioning of the Facultys student-focused programs and activities. You will support student lifecycle activities deliver advice and guidance to stakeholders contribute to committees and operational planning and support student engagement initiatives such as orientation and industry experiences. You will also drive continuous improvement and foster partnerships to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Deliver high-quality administrative services and customer care in line with university policies and compliance requirements.
Support planning and operational committees with expertise in student support and engagement.
Manage student lifecycle activities including admissions enrolment course advice transfers and progression.
Coordinate engagement initiatives such as orientation transition industry experience and marketing events (e.g. Open Day Career Expos).
Provide accurate advice and guidance to students staff and stakeholders on policies and procedures.
Drive continuous improvement through workflow reviews quality assurance and resource development.
Undertake research data analysis and reporting to inform service delivery.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide executive support to Faculty governance committees.
Perform other duties as required.
To succeed in this role you will have:
Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures in a complex environment.
Experience in student services or a similar role within higher education is desirable.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
