Description
As a Locum MD you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical services to patients dealing with gynecological cancers. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team ensuring that all patients receive personalized and compassionate care tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with gynecologic cancers
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with oncologists nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Perform surgical procedures as required
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care procedures
- Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology is preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting focusing on gynecologic oncology
- Strong understanding of cancer treatment protocols and patient management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Current medical license to practice in the state
