The Retail Pricing and Procurement Analyst will support a US-based client operating 60 grocery stores. This role is focused on retail pricing leadership vendor communication and promotional accuracy checks. The analyst will lead a small team to ensure pricing decisions are correct promotions are validated and vendor charges align with agreed terms. The position ensures compliance with client policies and US retail standards while driving pricing accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team responsible for retail pricing activities across 60 grocery stores
- Review supplier quotes invoices and pricing models to ensure accuracy and fairness
- Communicate directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies and confirm promotional pricing agreements
- Monitor and validate promotions (including cigarettes and other regulated items) to ensure the client is charged correctly
- Collaborate with client teams to maintain pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business goals
- Track vendor performance and adherence to service-level agreements
- Prepare pricing reports dashboards and summaries for client review
- Support contract documentation and ensure compliance with US retail procurement policies
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing analysis or procurement preferably in a BPO for US client
- Proven experience in retail pricing management and vendor communication
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel Power BI or similar tools
- Familiarity with procurement platforms and portals
- Understanding of US retail procurement regulations and vendor management practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently lead a team and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting US-based retail clients ideally grocery or convenience stores
- Exposure to promotional pricing validation and retail cost modeling
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
