Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading independent Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Tonbridge Kent. This position will be focused on accounts work with responsibilities tailored to the candidates experience and aspirations.

Our client operates from their offices in Tonbridge. Their clients are predominantly UK-based owner-managed businesses but they work in a national marketplace and benefit from the expertise and knowledge of their experienced team. As an Accounts Semi Senior you will be responsible for:

Preparing statutory accounts VAT returns and tax returns
Allocating and reviewing the work of junior team members
Preparing financial documents accounts packs and supporting information
Identifying and communicating accounting matters to managers
Liaising with clients and supporting them with day-to-day queries
Performing other related duties as required

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

At least 2 years practice experience with accounts preparation
AAT qualification or be studying ACCA/ACA
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously
Experience dealing with clients face to face
A collaborative approach and willingness to support others
