Job Summary

Are you passionate about building a modern efficient and outcomes-driven regulatory system Join our Strategic Planning and Performance team and play a key role in improving how we monitor report and deliver regulatory outcomes across NSW.

This is your opportunity to contribute to projects that strengthen performance measurement knowledge management and reporting frameworkshelping ensure our work is recognised by government industry and the public.

Ongoing employees affected by change management plans will be given priority consideration for at grade positions.

  • Ongoing Full Time 35 hours
  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally with a focus on Queanbeyan Armidale Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
  • Clerk Grade 7/8 salary from $113574 to $125720 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading

About the Role

As the Project Officer Strategic Planning and Performance you will:

  • Contribute to projects that monitor operational performance and support strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate consultative processes to capture analyse and report performance against agreed targets.
  • Assist in implementing knowledge management and business analysis systems that drive consistency and transparency.
  • Manage specific reporting activities to meet statutory and whole-of-government obligations.
  • Provide timely advice on planning performance monitoring and system improvements.
  • Source and compile data to track project progress and identify emerging issues.

This role is integral to supporting the teams work in building mature performance reporting systems and fostering collaboration across agencies

About You

You are an innovative thinker and outcomes-driven professional who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving. You bring:

  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Regulatory capability uplift
    • Setting and implementing regulatory strategy and priorities
    • Regulatory maturity and assurance systems
    • Evaluation and continuous improvement of regulatory practice
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work collegially across teams.
  • Proven ability to manage tasks analyse data and deliver accurate reporting within deadlines.
  • A commitment to integrity and contributing positively to team and organisational culture.
