Role: VET Administrator
Reports to: National VET Administration Manager
Location: Perth
Description:
Reporting to the National VET Administration Manager the VET Administrator will provide office support to teams in ILSC Education group for the smooth running of day-by-day operations. The VET Administrator also provide support to all students at all Greystone college campuses in Australia.
Job Duties:
- Providing support to students general and academic inquiries on daily bases through:
- VET student support email
- On campus support
- Preparing for each intake and send relevant information to students
- Updating study portal (Moodle) and student management system (Odyssey)
- Checking students entry conditions
- Communicating with Registration and Student Advisor teams about students status
- Sending welcome email
- Placing students in classes using Odysey
- Issuing qualification certificates statement of attainments and other official letters
- Following up students first day forms including USI number and AVETMISS questionaries
- Verifying students USI number
- Checking and following up students eligibility into future courses through
- Academic progress checks in previous course(s)
- Required English level checks
- Sending reminders to students enrolled in courses that require prerequisite completion
- Managing student access on Moodle for graduating students and students with outstanding payments
- Sending general announcements and other notifications to students
- Supporting preparing VET graduation ceremonies
- Preparing resources for course delivery such as class setting (online and on campus) and attendance sheets
- Inputting data into Odyssey and PRISMS
- Checking and recording credit transfers between courses
- Updating VET Student Records (VSR)
- Sending booking information to students on Academic Progress (AP)
- Communicating with the VET National Administration Manager regarding any updates concerns considerations
- Supporting VET Administration staffs nationally through
- Regular communications and an open door mentality
- Daily meetings
- Working collaboratively and cohesively with National VET Academic Advisors National Quality Assurance National Registration Global Curriculum Global Sales
- Global HR and Global Executive teams
- Contributing to Work Health and Safety identification and participation in committees ensuring a safe and supported work environment
