Hours of work:Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to join their expert Cancer Nursing Team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Nurse or a Band 5 Nurse with consolidated haematology cancer nursing experience to take the next step in their career. Haematology experience is essential and you must be a SACT-approved chemotherapy giver.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Work within a highly skilled haematology nursing team providing specialist cancer care
Deliver assess and evaluate personalised treatment plans
Be an advocate for patients and their families supporting them medically physically and emotionally throughout their cancer journey
Gain greater autonomy our nurse-led clinical model means youll play a key role in assessment and treatment decisions
Qualifications & Experience Required
A current NMC Nurse registration
Experience in Chemotherapy administration
Post registration experience within a haematology setting is essential
