We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Apprentice to join our vibrant and forward-thinking Finance Team on a full-time fixed-term basis.
Our Finance Team supports both Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council and as a newly formed team this is your chance to be part of something fresh and innovative. Youll gain hands-on experience across a variety of finance disciplines including:

About You:
The successful candidate will be proactive innovative present a strong level of interpersonal skills and share our organisational values (Nurture Belong Innovate Trust).
To be successful you will need to be able to work well within a team managing a demanding workload.
You need to be professional able to manage your own performance as well as being adaptable and resilient. Demonstratable IT skills are essential as are good communication and interpersonal skills.
The apprenticeships will be for 21 months to allow time to complete the relevant apprenticeship qualification.
Please note the placement includes attendance at one or both council sites should you be successful.
