Description

A brand-new opportunity has arisen within our highly successful Systems & Software Sales team within Ireland. The successful person will be responsible for supporting new clients realise their modernization and migration goals utilizing Emerson solutions and technologies.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work with sales operations and clients to develop proposals define and execute digital plant studies which evaluate customers vision strategy challenges and current state to subsequently define the potential solutions to meet their needs. This may include maturity model assessments feasibility analysis business case/ROI development conceptual design options analysis IT/OT architecture options analysis for manufacturing facilities proof of concept or prototype scope development etc.

  • Facilitate internal and customer events like road shows exhibitions forums etc.

  • Work with clients to define the IT/OT industry solution landscape for projects which may include digitalization analytics process control manufacturing execution scheduling process analytical technology process knowledge management data lake real-time release analytics solutions and/or other emerging technologies (typically manufacturing and equipment related) including integration to other IT systems such as supply chain quality systems laboratory information management systems computerized maintenance management systems etc. to ensure appropriate application of Emersons products and services.

  • Collaborate with Ireland Operations other consultants solution delivery engineers product managers or technical specialists for possible solutions in engagements.

  • Work with Ireland Operations teams to ensure requirements are incorporated appropriately

  • Represent Emerson Ireland within the SYSS BU to align collaborate and influence support across the Emerson business units to influence product direction and provide input on industry marketing.

  • Continuously learn emerging industry trends and apply them to customer engagements.

  • Participate in appropriate industry events and forums

Who You Are:

You will be highly driven by identifying new business opportunities with new customers and be motivated by winning strategic deals. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in proactive business development within Systems and enjoy building and nurturing relationships. For This Role You Will Need:

  • Successful track record of proactive selling; selling technical solutions automation platforms (DCS MES) or services.

  • Clear understanding of Automation System Architecture levels (Purdue Model) and ability to discuss related Cybersecurity aspects.

  • Strong facilitator and communicator who listens attentively with excellent presentation skills

  • Highly proactive with the ability to work in a self-directed environment achieving results

  • Willingness and successful in continuously improving through closely collaborating with subject matter experts

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Experience of selling into the Lifesciences industry or other highly regulated environments.
