As a Sales Development Representative at Elastic you are more than just a cog in the sales process. You are the frontline of communication encouraging genuine connections and placing quality interactions above simply dialling numbers. Your role is pivotal in shaping the future of our sales initiatives by actively engaging with prospects and understanding their unique challenges to offer tailored Elastic solutions.

We have built a cooperative workspace in Barcelona to nurture collaboration and team spirit used by our SDR and Sales Hub teams. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Partner with the sales marketing and partner teams to innovate strategies that increase our sales pipeline and business expansion;
  • Strike a balance between promptly addressing user inquiries and proactively seeking new business engagements;
  • Use tools like Salesforce Marketo and LinkedIn to research prospective accounts pinpoint key decision-makers and craft compelling messages;
  • Immerse yourself in learning the vast capabilities of Elastic technology to adeptly converse with a technical audience guiding them on how Elastic solutions meet their objectives.

What You Bring:

While there is no one-size-fits-all mold for our ideal candidate successful team members often share these traits:

  • 1-2 years of sales/SDR experience including roles held during university studies
  • Receptive towards feedback coupled with a voracious appetite for knowledge and self-improvement
  • Eager to grasp and elucidate sophisticated technical concepts; However rest assured we have ample resources to help you succeed!
  • Excel at initiating phone conversations with potential new clients as this is your gateway to success!
  • Persistent in meeting and surpassing monthly targets through rigor creativity and a relentless attitude;
  • Inspired to contribute to a vision and community that extends beyond individual ambitions.
  • Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English
