As a Senior Applied Researcher you will be working as part of the Wix CTO Office team researching problems that can give Wixs products competitive advantage in a wide range of challenges. The team is working on vision models LLM based Agentic architectures Reinforcement Learning Reasoning and more.
On your day to day you will:
Design train and implement models that solve specific needs
Collaborate with Wix product teams to design and integrate AI models
Run POCs
Explore cutting edge solutions that can be the next strategic direction for Wix
Brainstorm and Research novel ideas in various fields
Qualifications :
Demonstrated creativity and willingness to tackle ambitious high-risk problems
PhD in CS or related field or MSc and 5 years of applied research experience
5 years of research experience in computer vision machine learning autonomous perception or related areas
Programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch HuggingFace LangChain)
Strong publication record at top-tier AI/ML conferences and journals
Hands-on experience with large-scale training
Strong knowledge of deep learning models and common model architectures such as transformer models LLMs CNNs RNNs.
Proven ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Advantage - open-source contributions to ML/AI frameworks

We are Wixs Data Science CTO Office team a small team composed of researchers and engineers. We work with different groups at Wix and with the CEO on various research projects. Some are for new features to be added to Wix products some are research in areas that could give Wix a strategic advantage.
