AECOM is searching for a Project-Client Manager in our Roanoke VA office to lead and support our water wastewater site civil and related infrastructure projects. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to those listed below.
- Candidate will manage plan and lead engineering design projects for land development stormwater and facility infrastructure.
- Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
- Manages the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- May supervise mid to junior level engineers (all disciplines applicable) as well as project administration project controls scheduling cost control estimating and procurement representatives.
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
- Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time within scope and within budget
- Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manages changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Performs risk management to minimize project risks
- Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional Engineer - PE in Virginia.
- Project Management Experience.
Preferred Requirements
- 15 years of related experience.
- Experience with project development and management utility systems and client management.
