Job Summary
Picture this: Youre at the heart of a dynamic finance team where every number tells a story and every report shapes the future of a growing business. At Valeo Foods UK were looking for a Financial Accountant who thrives on precision insight and impact.
In this role youll be the guardian of financial governance ensuring accuracy in monthly and yearly reporting keeping tax compliance watertight and managing the details that keep our business running smoothly. From liaising with auditors and tax authorities to maintaining our fixed asset register youll be the go-to expert for financial control and compliance.
But this isnt just about crunching numbers. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams providing insights that influence big decisions. Youll lead on tax processes support audits and even play a part in shaping strategies for efficiency and growth. Its a role where your technical expertise meets real-world impact.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) with 35 years PQE
- Experience in a financial or management accounts-based role providing insight and commentary plus tax compliance
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g. Sage Oracle IFS)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Food industry or commercial environment experience preferred but not essential
