Demonstrated experience in programme management and related processes. Knowledge of Results Based-Management. Computer skills (in MS office) including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables data management etc.). Previous data management experience preferable in cash-based intervention context. Excellent knowledge of computer software and database applications. Experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or later).

The Programme CBI Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall programme management cycle while ensuring at the same time the effective implementation of cash-based interventions (CBI) in accordance with UNHCR standards. As such this position combines programme planning monitoring and reporting with technical and operational responsibilities for CBI ensuring that cash assistance is delivered efficiently transparently and in compliance with protection and data security.

The position will assist in developing and administering UNHCR Regular CBI database; support to prepare and administer accurate lists of beneficiaries for the regular assistance through bank ATM/IRIS system in line with the procedures established by the office; support in generating CBI data reports based on the standard reporting formats and ad-hoc reports charts and tables as required by the management; manage and maintain CBI-related databases ensuring data accuracy integrity and compliance with data protection standards; support monthly reconciliation and refund processes for cash assistance projects; support in coordinate with partners and focal points to ensure accurate beneficiary information and smooth delivery of assistance; assist in developing and conducting post-distribution monitoring (PDM) to evaluate programme impact and effectiveness; provide technical support and troubleshooting for CBI systems escalating unresolved issues to the supervisor

Overall this position requires:
Experience in programme and project management cycle previous experience in cash-based interventions is an asset.
Ability to work effectively with vulnerable populations and maintain confidentiality in line with data protection standards.
Strong analytical and reporting skills in both English and French with attention to detail.
Proficiency in database management and advanced Excel skills; experience with Microsoft SQL Server is an asset.
Responsiveness and proactive problem-solving.
Flexibility team working skills professional and personal integrity.
Ability to work independently when necessary
Commitment to the mandate of UNHCR.
Previous experience in an international environment is an advantage
