Responsibilities
Leads multiple project teams of other designers and internal and outsourced partners responsible for all stages of industrial design and development for a portfolio of complex products and platforms including design architecture language validation and specifications.
Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners on industrial design and development.
Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with industrial design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and user experience.
Manages implementation schedule including coordinating timelines with internal project managers and external partners.
Provides domain-specific expertise and overall industrial design leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects programs and activities.
Showcases the ability to execute the vision create detailed roadmaps and drive technical solutions to make a compelling business case with senior executives.
Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and design language into projects and activities in the industrial design organization.
Develops continual improvement roadmaps and oversees the deployment of these strategies across multiple functions.
Guides the project team to meet schedules and milestones with high performance.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Design Product Design or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
7-10 years of work experience preferably in industrial design and development of physical hardware products and systems or a related field.

The pay range for this role is$115850to$178400USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location job-related knowledge skills and experience.
