Lewis Rice LLC a large St. Louis law firm has an opening for an Eminent Domain Paralegal. This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. A minimum of two years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys with all aspects of eminent domain cases
- Draft and prepare pleadings discovery and other legal documents
- Organize and maintain case files and evidence
- Coordinate with clients experts and witnesses
- Manage deadlines and court filings
- Utilize technology resources to support attorneys and clients
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements: - Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate preferred
- Any equivalent combination of education experience and training that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Requirements: - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Strong organizational time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to utilize technology resources effectively
