We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee K-8 school construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in educational facility construction ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site construction activities for K-8 school projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and site personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and progress reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and engineers to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain strong communication with school district representatives and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with at least 3 years in K-8 school construction.
- Strong knowledge of educational facility requirements and building codes.
- Excellent leadership organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore Builder trend).
- OSHA certification preferred.
