Job Summary

Technical Sales Representative

Our client a well established and growing manufacturing company is seeking a Technical sales Representative to manage and grow their Lab and OEM Filter business.

Responsibilities:

* Develop a territory plan with management to Achieve Sales Targets as developed by company management.
* Drive Sales Growth: maintain and grow existing accounts develop new relationships and sales channels through regular communication via phone email and onsite visits. Provide quotations support and follow through to promote AFW products.
* Responsible for prospecting and territory lead generation activities as an individual contributor and as part of a Sales and Marketing Team.
* Responsible for market access/channel development (OEM Distribution and Mfg. Reps.) develop manage and grow existing and new accounts. Provide direction feedback and support to respective channels and coordinate related business requirements within internal departments.
* Manage client expectations by establishing credibility through providing knowledge training sales and field support and advice on products as it would relate to their business or applications.
* Document track and enter sales activity within the CRM. Provide monthly activity and trip summary reports to your manager. Communicate regularly and proactively with management as to progress trends and potential problems/issues.
* Expected travel 25-75%. Manage sales trips and activity to accomplish responsibilities and objectives effectively and efficiently. Additional travel for annual sales meetings trade shows and company training.
* Submit sales expenses monthly no later than 2 weeks after the close of each month.


Requirements:

* Proven sales or related experience 5 years in the Laboratory Equipment or Water Industry; Technical degree and related experience preferred.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the in the industry and technology and through ongoing educational certification process and/or association memberships (i.e. Prof. Certifications/memberships ISPE WQA).
* Should have excellent people skills written communication and presentation skills.
* Proficient computer skills/knowledge of general MS Office and familiarity with and routine use of CRM software Microsoft Teams and generative AI tools
* Must be able to work independently and be an organized self-starter
