Job Summary

  • Part-time / 12 hours per week fixed-term contract until end of June 2026
  • Based onsite in Ringwood East on the lands of the Wurundjeri People
  • Competitive hourly rate of $124.79  12% Super Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18550 

Primary Care is a program area of Each responsible for delivering upon a range of Primary Care services including Medical Nursing Allied Health and Oral Health. The General Practice and Nurse Led Specialty Service operates as a team within Primary Care and is responsible for delivering high quality medical and nursing services across the outer east region of Melbourne.

We are a multidisciplinary team of GPs Nurse Practitioners Registered Nurses Bicultural Workers and allied health professionals working collaboratively and alongside the Refugee Health Program. We are a recognised Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub for the Department of Human Services as well as one of the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain clinics in Victoria delivering services such as:

  • Long Acting Reversible Contraception (IUD Implanon)
  • Cervical screening
  • Pregnancy and fertility care
  • Maternity shared care
  • Menstrual health care
  • Menopause Care
  • Pelvic Pain management
  • Medical Termination of Pregnancy
  • Immunisation
  • PrEP
  • Blood Borne Virus and Sexually Transmitted Infection checks

In this role youll be more than a clinicianyoull be a guide a champion and a trusted voice for those navigating their health journeys. Youll provide timely life-changing care through in-person consultations breaking down barriers for people who might otherwise struggle to access support. Youll bring comfort and clarity to those facing sensitive health concerns across sexual and reproductive health and Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain. Youll ensure that no one feels unseen or unheard.

As a valued part of our multidisciplinary team you will:

  • Deliver in-person care ensuring patients receive timely accessible support.
  • Coordinate care and referrals providing a holistic and integrated approach to healing.
  • Advocate for best practices in sexual and reproductive health empowering patients with knowledge and options.
  • Support and uplift Nurse Practitioners strengthening the impact of primary healthcare.
  • Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards ensuring patient trust and confidentiality.
  • Be a force for progress contributing to continuous improvements in care and service delivery.

  • GP Registration: Vocationally registered GP with FRACGP or ACRRM.
  • AHPRA Registration: Unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
  • Specialised Certification: Womens Sexual and Reproductive Health certification.
  • Insurance: Medical Indemnity Insurance.
