Are you a Senior Speech or Occupational Clinician ready to influence the next generation of therapists

Join Ability Action Australia at our Ashmore office in a pivotal leadership role where you can balance high-level clinical expertise with team mentorship.

As a Multi-disciplinary Team Leader you will drive clinical excellence and operational success. Youll be the bridge between complex participant care and the professional growth of your team.

Your Impact:

  • Mentor & Lead: Provide 1:1 supervision and facilitate monthly peer groups for graduates and early-career clinicians.
  • Clinical Strategy: Use your expertise to assess complex cases and oversee caseload allocations.
  • Operational Support: Ensure your discipline thrives through expert guidance and NDIS compliance.
  • Community Care: Deliver meaningful therapy across school home and clinic settings. 
  • Diversity: Manage a team of up to 10 clinicians in OT or SLP. Fantastoc opportunities to diversify your leadership acumen across disciplines.

Qualifications :

To be considered suitable you will have:

  • Degree qualification in either Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology  
  • Experience in the NDIS is essential
  • Current full registration or unrestricted membership with the applicable national professional body in Australia for your field of qualification
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and support allied health professionals in the development of their clinical skills
  • Exceptional written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new idea
  • Looking for a fun collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
