The Investigations Specialist is responsible for a wide range of duties related to the investigation and elimination of online e-commerce risk (reputational/compliance/financial). This involves performing regular investigations/audits to monitor set risk thresholds implementing appropriate actions when thresholds are exceeded as per established procedures and communicating with internal and external stakeholders throughout the investigation process. The ideal candidate will have experience in investigations trust and safety catalog evaluation and a track record of success in a customer-focused environment.
Key job responsibilities
Execute and manage risk assessment tasks following established methodologies
Conduct routine risk assessments and audits to monitor and test risk thresholds implementing appropriate actions when exceeded
Manage stakeholder communications and escalations
Drive process improvements to enhance risk mitigation and compliance
Create and maintain risk-related documentation and reports
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) workflows and partner with policy and legal teams
About the team
The MCCF Trust RIT Team has multiple workstreams focused on protecting Shoppers Merchants and Amazon from bad actors for Buy with Prime (BwP) and Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF). We aim to make MCCF the most trusted solution for any merchant to build and operate their Direct 2 Customer store or multi-channel business without fear of loss due to fraudulent or abusive activity. We will do this while also protecting Amazon from the financial and reputational risks associated with bad actors. Trust will become one of the reasons merchants choose MCCF products given Amazons expertise and continuing investment in identifying and building fraud & abuse detection and prevention solutions.
BwP:
- 1 years of customer service experience
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- Experience in payments or e-commerce
- 6 months of customer service experience
