Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
Location: The Learning Experience Bushwick Brooklyn NY
- Lead the daily operations of a 2-year-old classroom ensuring a safe nurturing and age-appropriate space.
- Implement The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum supporting toddlers cognitive language motor and social-emotional skills.
- Work collaboratively with assistant teachers modeling strong classroom practices and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Build trusting relationships with families and provide daily updates on childrens routines and progress.
- Maintain compliance with New York State early childhood licensing and health/safety standards.
- Bachelors or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) OR
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with young children plus high school diploma
- Experience leading or supporting a toddler or preschool classroom preferred.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for 2-year-olds.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Must meet all New York State early childhood educator qualifications.
