Your New Role and Responsibilities

The Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) is a mission-critical suite of software applications that enables the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to effectively plan prepare execute manage and report on aviation operations.

The IT Security Officer will support our customers technology where an overview of responsibilities includes:

• Oversee adherence to Defence security frameworks (ISM DSPF) and manage system accreditation.
• Conduct risk assessments develop mitigation strategies and maintain security documentation.
• Define and enforce security controls access management and data protection measures.
• Lead incident response planning continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams and stakeholders on security best practices.

What Youll Bring to Make an Impact

• Strong understanding of theAustralian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)DSPF and related compliance standards.
• Experience inrisk managementsecurity architecture andincident responsefor mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity withnetwork securityidentity and access management andsecure system design.
• Proven experience insystem certification and accreditationprocesses within Defence or similar regulated environments.
