Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
Pay: $25$28 per hour (based on education and experience)
- Create a warm inclusive classroom where children thrive academically and emotionally.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Creative Curriculum and DOE 3-K learning standards.
- Support social-emotional growth through individualized attention and positive reinforcement.
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and progress updates.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure compliance with DOE and licensing requirements.
- Must meet NYC DOHMH Group Teacher qualifications including one of the following:
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or
- Associate degree in ECE and two years of classroom experience or
- CDA credential and three years of preschool classroom experience.
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or
- NYS Teaching Certification (BirthGrade 2) or active study plan preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Must meet all NYC DOHMH childcare licensing standards.
