EIFER seeks a master student for an internship position (m/f/d) in the field of
Electricity Grids and Regulation.
This position is particularly suited for students seeking to write their masters thesis.
Start: 01.02.2026
Duration: max. 6 months (compulsory internship)
Weekly working hours: 39.5
Remuneration: 560 monthly
- Analysis of the technical and regulatory aspects of electricity grids in Germany and France with a focus on technical grid connection conditions.
- Cooperation and consultation with experts and various stakeholders in the field of electricity grids.
- Conducting comparative studies between Germany and France on this topic.
- Currently enrolled as a masters student
Preferred study subjects: Electrical Engineering Energy Technology Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Economics or similar. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in energy research and sustainability.
- Written and spoken German and French (minimum B2 level) knowledge of English is an advantage
- Initial experience or university courses in the field of electricity grids markets and/or regulation. Experience in the field of electromobility is an advantage.
- Interest in working in an exciting trilingual project and work environment.
