Senior Team Leader Physical Security System Support (Financial Services)

A renowned financial services group requires the services of a seasoned Senior Team Leader Physical Security Systems Support.
Duties & Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The main purpose of this position is to provide effective team leadership for the management of the operation of all physical electronic security system functions within the group.
Key Performance Areas:
- Provide leadership for the technical and physical aspects of security infrastructure maintenance.
- Lead the operations of the technical physical electronic security management function.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for the management of all physical security systems.
- Lead the maintenance support of physical electronic security systems.
- Manage a comprehensive database containing security electronic system information track electronic security anomalies including system failures and maintenance deficits.
- Develop and ensure the implementation of operational risk identification and mitigation plan for physical electronic security systems.
- Manage the compilation analysis and reporting of physical electronic security systems management information (status and performance of security systems).
- Lead and empower the team ensuring the team has the necessary support guidance and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Analyse technical information as input to the research design and build life cycle to ensure a fit-for-purpose solution.
- Manage the capital and operational budget in support of the groups security objectives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Essential Experience Qualifications and Skills Required:
- An Honours degree in Information Technology/Security Systems Management/Electronics Security Systems or an equivalent/related NQF 8 qualification.
- A minimum of 810 years experience in management of Electronic Security Systems with at least 3 years in a team leadership/supervisory position.
- Sound knowledge of the Security Incident Management Security Management relevant Legislation and Regulations Electronic Security Systems Computer-Based Systems and SANS Standards.
- Experience in Information Technology Systems advantageous.
