Nursing Manager Durban (Private Mid-Size Hospital)
Location: Durban
REF: MVG/NSM
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead the nursing division of a reputable mid-size private hospital in Durban. The successful incumbent will oversee all nursing management functions driving the provision of quality patient care through effective leadership stakeholder collaboration and staff development. This role requires a strong leader who can optimise performance mentor teams and support the overall success of the hospital.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in General Nursing (NQF level 6) or B Cur Degree (NQF level 7 or 8).
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Health Service Management (essential).
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree (NQF level 8) (advantageous).
- A relevant business management qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum of 3 years management experience in the private healthcare sector (Deputy Nursing Manager experience preferable).
- Strong background in managing complex teams driving efficiencies and leading change.
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
