International Tax Manager

We are seeking a proactive and pragmatic International Tax Manager to join our dynamic in-house tax team. This is a crucial role that offers significant exposure to high-impact global project work including business reorganisations M&A financing and profit repatriation across various jurisdictions.

Salary: The base salary is 82500 with potential bonus earnings up to 10% generous annual leave allowance plus other benefits.
Location: This role offers flexibility and can be a hybrid role anticipated at least 2 days a week in the office near Victoria Station.
Permanent: Full-time position reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
This role is centered on both strategic project work and hands-on governance ensuring our global tax strategy is robust and compliant.
You will work closely with the Senior International Tax Manager driving compliance managing audits and ensuring our global operations are structured for optimal tax efficiency from a UK US BEPS P2 and local country perspective. This will include:
Project Management: Work on high-stakes ad-hoc international tax projects (e.g. business ownership reorganization entity elimination M&A & financing). This will involve managing external advisors to determine tax implications across multiple regimes.
Commercial Support: Provide essential tax expertise and support for commercial transactions.
Audit & Dispute Resolution: Assist with the management and resolution of tax audits and disputes in overseas locations.
Tax Reporting & Compliance: Review tax reporting data from overseas entities and assist with queries. Provide hands-on assistance with US tax compliance including GILTI & Subpart F calculations and data gathering.
Transfer Pricing (TP): Assist with determining TP implications arising from ad-hoc projects and support the resolution of TP disputes.
Governance & Controls: Prepare documentation summarizing key regional tax issues for audit committees. Ensure strict compliance with SOX controls.

Tax Qualification: Fully qualified (ACA/CA/ACCA and/or CTA/ADIT).
Technical Expertise: Strong technical competence in tax issues relevant to Multinational Corporations (MNCs) with a demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
Commercial Mindset: A practical robust and commercial approach to problem-solving.
Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting with diverse internal stakeholders and proactively picking up the phone to resolve issues.
Personal Attributes: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail. Must be flexible pragmatic and a collaborative team player.
Travel: Willingness to undertake a limited amount of overseas travel
