Job Summary

We are looking to hire a qualified childcare center director to manage our day-to-day operationand establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. Our Bradford site has thecapacity for about 35 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We are open year-round. You willoversee the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulationsensure that facilities are maintained manage and support a complement of daycare staff andmanage the centers financial successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of achildcare center daycare center or nursery school as well as strong leadership skills. Youshould display a friendly demeanor have a love for children and strive to create a supportiveand encouraging environment for both children and teachers. Early childhood developmentexperience is a : Ensure a safe happy and stimulating environment for children Manage and coordinate curricula with staff that comply with state and federalrequirements Ensure the center facilities are safe for children and comply with laws and regulations Evaluate and purchase materials equipment and supplies Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional developmentPromote open positions interview hire and train new staff members ensuring they meetall policies and legal requirements Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards andprocedures Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the centers policies Manage and oversee budget and accounts and ensure that the center remains profitable Develop and facilitate a marketing and communications plan Act as lead and/or assistant teacher during staff absences Support financial position of the center with grant and fundraising effortsSalary Range: $45K - $50K If you are interested in applying or have any questions please send your resume or questions
