Job Summary

We are scaling our remote commercial team and seeking a Business Development Intern to drive lead generation and early-stage sales.

Primary Job Title: Business Development Intern (Remote India)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate qualified leads across SMB and enterprise segments using LinkedIn email and phone outreach.
  • Design and execute multi-touch outbound campaigns with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and email automation platforms; manage follow-ups and response tracking.
  • Conduct discovery calls to surface hiring needs qualify opportunities and capture requirements for the sales team.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene: log activities update deal stages and keep an accurate sales pipeline in HubSpot/Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging provide feedback on campaign performance and support content-led prospecting initiatives.
  • Prepare and share weekly progress reports and assist with proposal preparation and seamless handoffs to onboarding teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • HubSpot CRM or Salesforce CRM
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Slides)
  • Microsoft Excel (data filtering basic formulas)
  • Email automation tools
  • Cold calling / outbound sales

Preferred

  • Familiarity with recruitment marketplaces (Naukri Indeed)
  • Exposure to sales enablement/proposal tools (PandaDoc DocuSign)
  • Basic understanding of recruitment metrics and lead qualification frameworks
