The Route Services Dispatcher is responsible for primarily supporting the route services however will be expected to help out other departments as this role you will be tracking movement of buses and communicating with the drivers to help coordinate their routes. This role will also perform a variety of customer service duties including data entry answering phones and responding to passenger questions or concerns as required.
Starting pay range for the role is $21.39-$27.29/hour $1/hour if bilingual (English/Spanish)
*Based on years of active years of Dispatcher experience*
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Qualifications for the Dispatcher:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Positive customer relations skills including good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with employees and the general public.
- Thorough knowledge of or ability to learn the Boulder County area
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety practices and procedures.
- Proper grammatical skills and legible penmanship.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test and will be considered a part of the random drug testing pool as a safety sensitive employee.
