Job Summary

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: This is an hourly part-time position providing mentorship and advocacy for youth and families throughout Greene.

The ideal candidate will be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community school and home settings.
The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay mileage ($0.50/mile) and activity reimbursement.

Hourly Rate: $21 per hour

Qualifications/Requirements:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Experience working with at-risk youth
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Reliable insured transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
