Description
Community Based Therapist (IIHS) - (LSWLISW or LPCLPCC)
Compensation: $59000-$65000
$2500 Sign on Bonus!

Working directly in communities bringing hope and healing to youth and families that need it! As part of an integral service team our community-based therapist deliver life changing Mental and Health services to youth and their families referred by schools healthcare providers Family and Children First councils county courts and more.
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor you will help youth and families overcome challenges working toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in their community! At NYAP youre not only a therapist youre a beacon of guidance and advocacy!

Responsibilities
Travels daily to providecommunity basedservices to and on behalf of youth and families in compliance with organizational contract and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health medical educational psychological vocational and social services.
Regularly reviews and modifiesyouth basedplans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
Establishes and maintains strong relationship with assigned foster parents and families of origin.
Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youths primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youths case plan.
Minimum Qualifications
LSW or LPC required
Experience in providing both individual and family therapy
Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
Experience with TF-CBT preferred
Daily travel required with the willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule or duringnon-traditional hours if needed
Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures socioeconomic ethnic religious and racial backgrounds.
You have good computer and technology skills
Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable personal transportation
- Good driving record
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100000/$300000 bodily injury liability
