Primary Purpose of Role

This position is a HO Based - Pan India Role responsible for delivering Value Volume Market share & GP goals for the assigned modern trade customers by building & executing customer-wise AOC plans. The role also involves significant collaboration with cross-Functional & sales operations teams to execute & grow the category as per the plan.

Roles and Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Growth Strategy & Business Planning

  • Develop and execute strategy for the accounts in line with the growth plans Value Volume GP & Market Share
  • Lead the trade negotiations with the accounts to drive mutual profitable growth
  • Devise the JBP with the accounts to drive win-win solutions as part of the growth plan
  • Planning marketing calendar of Promotions & Activations and aligning the same with accounts

  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build strong customer relationships to gather actionable insights enabling the development of strategic plans to drive category growth and gain market share
  • Deepen account relationships to co-create innovative ways to attract more consumers to the frozen category explore to create in-store touch points to bring the frozen category closer to the shoppers
  • Work closely with the customers & McCains marketing team to understand the latest trends in the food space and mutually launch NPDs to ensure continued excitement in the category
  • Leverage customers omnichannel presence to boost category penetration devise strategies on platform to drive recruitment and expand reach.

  1. Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Ensuring controls & financial hygiene: Collaborate closely with internal & Customers Commercial team to maintain a consistent cadence to financial processes reconciliations/NDCs to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Best in Class Customer Service Levels Partner with Supply chain to ensure accurate forecast maximize fill rates
  • Strive to streamline internal processes and constantly seek to make them future ready

Knowledge/Experience

To effectively perform in this job the position holder must have:

  • Experience- 6-8 Years in FMCG Modern Trade
  • Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyze data to extract meaningful business insights
  • Strong in collaboration & people skills - Able to build trust & sustainable interpersonal relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business planning and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a dynamic fast-moving market environment and inspire teams to deliver results
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and convert to business results
  • Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and drive assigned tasks/goals to completion
  • Current Exposure in Account management of Reliance would be an added advantage
