Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Fineos Platform Developer with a strong background in software application development. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working specifically with the Fineos platform and 5-6 years of overall experience in software development. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle both configuration tasks and Java-based customization to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fineos Configuration:
  • Customize and configure the Fineos platform to align with client specifications and business needs.
  • Develop and maintain business rules process flows and user interfaces within Fineos.
• Java Development:
  • Implement Java-based enhancements and modifications within the Fineos framework.
  • Design develop and test Java applications to ensure seamless integration with the Fineos platform.
• System Integration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Fineos with other systems and applications.
  • Ensure smooth data exchange and interoperability between Fineos and external systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the Fineos platform including configuration and customization.
• 5-6 years of experience in software application development with a strong focus on Java.
• Proficiency in Java programming and related technologies (e.g. J2EE Spring Framework).
• Proficiency in GIT SQL Docker AWS CLI
• Familiarity with web services APIs and integration protocols (e.g. REST SOAP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
