Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Engineer (Full-Stack Developer) specialising in React and Node who is passionate about technology and this role you will play a key part in designing developing and deploying AI-enabled full-stack web applications that support Rambolls global engineering efforts. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing productivity ensuring interoperability and maintaining data consistency across various products. Youll collaborate closely with Rambolls engineers from around the world to create tailor-made digital AEC products.

Your new role

As a full-stack developer you will:

• Work in cross-functional teams (pods) to design develop test deploy and maintain scalable digital AEC products.
• Take ownership of development tasks optimising code for performance and scalability while maintaining documentation.
• Interface with our Machine Learning & Data chapter to translate data insights and models into user-centric digital products.
• Collaborate with Product Architects to evaluate solutions select technologies and develop prototypes for build-or-buy decisions.
• Actively debug troubleshoot and provide ongoing support and maintenance for digital products.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement of personal and team processes.

Areas of responsibility

Product development and data management

• Contribute to Rambolls digital transformation and innovation by developing robust secure and scalable AI-enabled software products.
• Design and implement robust data management systems and analytics platforms capable of processing large data volumes for engineering use cases.

Platform Engineering:

• Contribute to the internal developer platform to optimise workflows and provide scalable infrastructure enhancing the efficiency and productivity of Ramboll Tech developments.
• Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of reusable components facilitating automated deployments monitoring and continuous delivery.

AI Spatial & Ambient Technologies:

• Integrate multimodal AI systems to automate and augment engineering workflows.
• Interface with spatial computing layers where users engage with contextual design data in real time.
• Support ambient computing environments that dynamically respond to project phases user roles and live operational data.

Change Management & Capability Building:

• Guide Ramboll through a comprehensive digital transformation equipping teams with the tools training and mindsets to succeed.

Qualifications :

About You

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering IT or related field (or equivalent practical experience) and 5 years of experience.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with proficiency in programming languages (e.g. JavaScript TypeScript) and frameworks (e.g. React Node). Additional programming languages are a plus.
• Database experience with SQL Server or another relational database management system.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle coding standards basic architectural design and agile methodologies with hands-on experience in product development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform Azure) databases and AI-assisted coding techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams manage multiple priorities and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Adaptability and openness to leveraging emerging technologies (AI ML cloud computing) to deliver innovative solutions.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
