Corporate and Funding Technology (CFT) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the firmwide businesses and enterprise-wide functions. Our clients include Fixed Income Equities Prime Brokerage Commodities Investment Banking Research and Global Capital Markets as well as Operations HR and Corporate Services.
Counterparty Data and Regulatory Technology part of CFT is responsible for firmwide infrastructure for managing counter party information client and account onboarding and all regulatory adherences for the clients. CDRT has commenced on several strategic initiatives to better our technology and data management platform. These initiatives involve building state of the art solutions using industry standard architectural methodologies such as Business Process Management Business Rules Management Event Driven MOM Service Oriented Architecture and Business Intelligence Reporting infrastructure. This position represents a unique opportunity to work with latest technologies as well as work with various IT
and Business teams across the firm.
PIPE Platform comprises of strategic onboarding and regulatory system along with business rules framework
PIPE Roadmap for next three years involves build out of next generation platform for client and account onboarding with focus on cloud adoption and offering PIPE as the single product with all business functions consolidated for the client onboarding and regulatory compliance space. Given the complexity and the nature of this renovation we need a product engineer and strong developer with strong hands-on skills on frontend development and cloud competencies for this multi-year transformation program from design architecture development and UX perspective. Engineer is to work for all frontend development per the strategic roadmap to rollout the renovated user interface for the system and the common UI components for this transformation. This needs very close collaboration with product owner business stakeholders UX designers UI chapter lead and the development team. Skills Required (Must have):
The candidate must possess a strong technology background with advanced knowledge of Java and Java based technology stack.
>At least 5 years of strong experience with enterprise-wide systems/platform - web development Angular React nodeJS JS frameworks.
>Strong experience in managing User Interfaces for data intensive platforms
>Expertise in Object Oriented Design Design patterns Architecture and Application Integration
>Strong experience in architecting scalable applications that can support 1000 users at a time
>Hands-on experience with distributed tech stack into modern tools of development
>Hands-on experience for cloud-based tools and tech stack to uplift the new platform for cloud deployment
>Hands-on experience with core dev-ops tooling and best practices and manage this at a platform level
>Hands-on experience for managing large UI product from delivery code-quality and maintenance perspective
>Hands-on experience with automated test frameworks - Jasmine Karma Protactor etc.
>Experience in managing the deployments and build frameworks
>Experience in managing the large codebase/monorepos supporting development of the UI platform with large number of developers contributing continuously to the platform.
>Experience with DB basics - SQL
>Experience in collaborating with global stakeholders for product development
>Ability to manage the UX designers and translate UX designs into actual product implementation
>Ability to co-ordinate across large team and ensure product development per multi-year roadmap; play the Chapter lead role for front-end development
>Consistent track record for successful delivery of enterprise wide platforms
>Ability to coach and mentor the talent on development best practices with new tech stacks - frontend development and cloud esp.
>Ability to adapt to the new developments in the UI space and to keep platform technically updated and modern.
Good to have skills -
>Experience with webservice development - e.g. REST
>Experience with Spring Spring boot
>Experience with caching solutions to support data intensive user-interfaces
