Description
Location: West Point NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Rate: $27.00/hr
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Insure timely fulfillment of maintenance requests.
- Supervise maintenance techs.
- Coordinates projects with various stakeholders.
- Enforces Health and Safety protocols and practices.
- Maintain preventative maintenance records & report weekly.
- Recruitment hiring and corrective actions when needed.
- Vendor negotiation and solicitation for bids for projects.
- Assist with snow removal and landscape for internal and contract sites when needed.
- Reports to Building Systems Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including plumbing electrical structural HVAC and Control systems.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience with centrifugal driven water chiller is a plus.
- Experience working with voltages greater than 120vac
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of building systems maintenance experience.
- Extensive knowledge of all trades related to facilities and grounds maintenance.
- Previous experience working on a military base is a plus.
- Competent computer skills. (email MS Word and excel)
