We are seeking an inspirational experienced and highly motivated teacher of English as an Additional Language to join our team of specialists. If you are keen to help English language learners progress to the mainstream and work across tiers of support and are passionate creative and dynamic we want to hear from you!
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will deliver English Language Acquisition and English for Academic Purposes to EAL learners across the secondary school. They will support their learners in developing English proficiency in reading writing speaking listening and grammar skills. It is an expectation that the candidate will use inclusive practices and enable student agency and promote student wellbeing. Inquiry-based teaching strategies will be used to create positive learning environments that motivate and challenge all learners to become self-regulated life-long learners and leaders who can communicate effectively through written and spoken English.
