As an Arena Operator I with Sherwood Park Arena & Sports Centre you will serve and interact with guests as well as work closely with the Arena Operations team to ensure facilities are clean and safe for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of guest service to create a seamless positive guest experience
Interact and build relationships with guests and other staff; provide options and solutions for guest requests
Set-up recreational facilities for guests bookings and special events
Assist the Arena Operator II and IIIs to ensure the arena surfaces are well maintained
Assist in overall facility operations including completing assigned daily weekly or monthly cleaning and regular maintenance Support facilities needs; snow removal equipment set up and take down and special event support
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum completion of Grade 10
Knowledge of facility programs and activities and day-to-day facility operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent customer services skills and the ability to positively interact with facility guests using strong conflict resolution skills
Works well both individually and as a team
Ability to plan and organize to ensure daily tasks are completed in an efficient and effective manner
Capability to deal with a diverse user group with unique needs and the ability to adapt to changing guests and building needs
Willingness to work varying shifts and hours including evenings and weekends
Conditions of Employment
Obtain a current and valid Intermediate (Standard) First Aid CPR-C certification prior to the completion of training
Submission of Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
