Job Description:
Under general direction performs assignments requiring application of Industry standard Configuration Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.
Essential Functions:
- Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design Product Definition and Operations data includingverifications and management ofClass I and Class II engineering changesfor and accuracy including: configuration identification bill-of-materials relationships and affected documents.
- Perform Data Management Activities by supporting programs with contract data deliverables to external customers as well as supporting management of data with suppliers.
- Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.
- Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices principles policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Configuration Management practices and principles and knowledge of ISO10007 and EIA649 required.
- Knowledge of PTC Windchill
- CMII or CMPIC certification
- Knowledge of design development and manufacture of mechanical and electrical systems
In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in the state of California is $75000 - $139000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
