A highly respected privately held global leader in precision fuel delivery is identifying their next Global VP of Product Engineering. This is a mission-critical six figure executive role with full ownership of worldwide engineering strategy new-product introduction and technology roadmap for one of the most recognized names in high-pressure diesel and gasoline fuel systems injectors turbochargers EGR valves and next-generation hybrid/electrified propulsion components.
We are conducting an intensive mapped search for a select group of proven engineering executives who have already delivered at the VP or Global Head level within Tier-1 automotive or performance powertrain environments.
What the CEO is looking for in a Vice President Product Engineering:
- 15 years of progressive engineering leadership in automotive powertrain/fuel systems
- 3 years operating in a Global capacity as Vice President Director Head of Engineering or Senior Director with multi-site multi-continent responsibility
- Documented success launching common-rail diesel systems GDI pumps/injectors variable-geometry turbos or advanced EGR solutions into OEM production programs and/or the high-performance aftermarket
- Deep working knowledge of APQP/PPAP DFMEA/PFMEA Six Sigma Black Belt-level deployment and IATF 16949 quality systems
- Proven ability to lead and scale 100200 person global engineering organizations across mechanical electrical software and validation disciplines
- Strong existing relationships with North American European or Asian OEMs (passenger car heavy-duty or off-highway a plus)
- Executive presence to serve as the technical face of the company at customer C-suite reviews and industry conferences
- Motorsports SEMA-level performance aftermarket product development
- Hydrogen combustion e-fuels or hybrid-electric fuel system integration
- Remanufacturing engineering leadership
