The Company offers a complete range of products and services including high speed machining (3 4 & 5 axis medium/complex aluminum and hard metal machining) kitting assembly and integration decorative coatings airfoil/propulsion structures specialist and global supply chain management.

Position Summary:

This is a fully onsite position that performs the job of a systems analyst and a computer programmer. We are looking for a programmer analyst to automate current systems through reports development and creating toolsets for office staff. We are ultimately looking to develop a digital dashboard to monitor / manage our business. Majority of work will be working with business units to improve / automate internal business processes and then interfacing with Power BI SQL Server Microsoft Excel VBA Microsoft Access and Microsoft SharePoint and power apps to support automation and monitoring of business processes. Process documentation both current and future states and the ability to communicate with and train business units on needed changes will be required along the way.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Meets with business personnel to determine current company processes identify gaps / needs / automation opportunities and then designs a system to meet those gaps / needs / opportunities. For each process identifies any inputs needed process changes needed to supply those inputs and metrics needed to monitor the process. May also prepare cost analyses to assist management in determining the financial feasibility of a system as well as work with project managers to ensure that time lines are met. Will need to document process changes and effectively train individuals on those process changes.

  • Identifies automation opportunities by establishing personal rapport with internal clients and learning their process and procedures.
  • Documents current and future state processes identifying opportunities for automation.
  • Develops and reports business cases to management to justify project expenses.
  • Designs reports primarily through Power BI and interfaces using SQL Server Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables VBA Microsoft Access and Microsoft SharePoint and Power Apps to support in the implementation of the items mentioned above.
  • Defines required inputs and process modifications needed to produce reports and system metrics and to support automation opportunities.
  • Designs and builds digital dashboard to monitor key performance indicators for processes.
  • Provides documentation and training for new process implementation guidelines.
  • Develops and maintains applications and databases specifically utilizing Power BI SQL Server VBA Microsoft Access Microsoft Excel SharePoint and Power Apps - to support automated processes defined above.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years application development experience
  • 5 years experience in working with internal clients to develop business processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Project Management Skills required
  • Proven history of automating business processes and creating effective support documentation
  • Strong background in SQL Server VBA Microsoft Access Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint Syteline (ERP system) Power BI and Power Apps are a plus.
