THE ROLE
Are you passionate about science education and nurturing a love of learning amongst students
PLC is seeking a full-time ongoing Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team from the start of the 2026 school year. This is a term time only position.
You will be working in partnership with our Science teaching staff to provide effective learning outcomes for students across Years 7-12 with a focus on Years 7-10 Science.
As Laboratory Technician youll play a key role in providing technical and operational support to our Science staff and students contributing to optimal teaching and learning outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
You have a minimum Diploma of Applied Science (or equivalent) or relevant experience/training in a Science laboratory setting ideally in an educational environment.
Your effective communication skills ability to relate positively with students and staff and your capacity for self-direction and independent work will be essential to this role.
You demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills have a strong understanding of safety protocols and measures within a laboratory and are able to support students and colleagues with that same level of understanding.
