Job Summary

AtPakenham CARCO were expanding and looking for a passionate Diagnostic Technician to join our busy high-performing Service Workshop. The Role

As a Diagnostic Technician youll be responsible for:

Performing advanced diagnostics fault finding and quality repairs to manufacturer standards
Inspecting reconditioning and servicing pre-owned and new vehicles
Using the latest diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot complex issues
Conducting test drives and final inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety
Mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a culture of continuous learning
Accurately documenting work completed and maintaining service records

About You

Youre a driven and detail-oriented team player who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis (AUR40216)
Has proven experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop environment
Demonstrates strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Can provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians
Communicates effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
Is reliable conscientious and takes pride in delivering high-quality work
Holds a valid Victorian Drivers Licence
Is willing to undergo a National Police Check
