ABC PRE-SCHOOL CLASSROOM TEACHER (DAWSON CO-OP at FOUNTAIN LAKE)

ABC Pre-Kindergarten Teacher 2025-2026 school year The teacher shall hold a standard Arkansas teacher license with P-4 certification. Teachers must be able to demonstrate competency in the areas of developmentally appropriate programming curriculum development and daily classroom management.

ABC Teacher will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Enforce and follow ABC Program rules and regs DHS Minimum Licensing requirements and Dawson policies.

Create a classroom environment that follows the CLASS requirements.

Complete all Work Sampling deadlines.

Exhibit accurate knowledge of content and pedagogy.

Exhibit knowledge of students individual development and academic needs.

Select and use appropriate resources. Create an environment of respect and rapport.

Establish a positive culture for learning.

Exhibit effective classroom procedures with little loss of instruction.

Effectively supervise students and manage student behavior.

Effectively communicate with students.

Confer with parents or guardians other teachers counselors and administrators to resolve students behavioral and academic problems.

Reflect on teaching and make adjustments to target greater understanding and student achievement.

Maintain accurate and complete records as required by laws district policies and administrative regulations.

Select store order issue and inventory classroom equipment materials and supplies.

Effectively communicate with families to discuss childrens progress and needs.

Exhibit continued professional growth and development.

Exhibit professionalism with students staff and parents.

Report to proper authorities any cases of suspected child endangerment neglect or abuse.

Attend all professional meetings and professional development sessions.

Perform other duties as assigned by the coordinator or other administrators.
