Responsibilities:

• Assist in execution of walkthrough testing and evaluation of deficiency phases of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance
• Evaluate business processes such as Order to Cash Procure to Pay Payroll Stock Compensation Financial Close Financial Reporting etc. to determine adequacy of controls compliance with policies and procedures and comparison to leading practices.
• Performs testing of financial transactions processes or controls based on audit program.

• Document accurate logical and detailed workpapers clearly describing the tests result of work performed and conclusions reached regarding Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Identify deficiencies in the control design and operating effectiveness.
• Prepares draft audit findings and works with engagement manager on recommendations.
• Interacts effectively with co-workers at all levels to foster and maintain strong working relationships.
• Performs other job duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3 -5 years of Internal Audit Financial Audit Public Accounting or Sarbanes-Oxley experience.

Education:

• A Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Obtained or working toward a related professional certification (CIA CA CPA CISA CFE etc.)

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of PCAOB and generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to audit financial operational and technical processes and controls to assist with SOX compliance.
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word Excel PowerPoint Visio.

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Financial ERP systems like Oracle SAP etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Obtained or working toward a related professional certification (CIA CA CPA CISA CFE etc.)

Technical Skills:

• Experience working in an offshore consulting model for clients/operations based in US / Europe
• Working knowledge of COSO framework to evaluate Entity level and Activity Level Controls.
